Slow Stitching Sunday

I have fiddled away most of my afternoon trying to get blogspot to accept an email comment, and almost forgot to get in some stitching.  Kathy at Kathy's Quilts challenged everyone in her Slow Stitching Sunday post  to take a picture of their hands while they were stitching.  Eeek!  I've got like the world's ugliest hands, but they are better than my face, so I did it.  I hope it doesn't break your monitor.

  1. Isn't that annoying when the different sites won't talk to one another? thanks for visiting my blog

  2. At least you got some stitching in. I'm not sure what's going on with the email comments. Some show up and some don't. Your's weren't last week, they are this week.

  4. Your hands are perfectly wonderful - talented and skilled.

One of my regrets is that I didn't take photos of my mother's hands.

  6. I wondered if anyone was getting the email copy. I tested on my old blog and not only did I NOT get an email, I didn't get the usual bounce notice.

  7. Thank you, but I wish I didn't have the age spots and arthritic knuckles.

  8. Thank you, that is sweet. I wish I had a photo of my great grandmother's hands also now that you mention it.

  9. I think it's interesting to see how everyone sews binding on differently! I work from right to left with the side I'm binding at the top - opposite of the way yours is pictured!

  10. I had to think if this is the normal way I do it, or if this one was different because of the size. I think I normally go right to left too but this is a cumbersome quilt and it seems easier to do it this way. When I get around the corner, I may change my mind though.
