It doesn't look like much has changed on my design wall, but I've been plugging away on the crossroads blocks and trying out finishes for the Irish chain. That is when I have had time. We've been digging in the mud lately trying to get our yard to dry out. Not fun. So this is just a quickie post before I have to get my mud boots on for the day.

Dealing with the mud doesn't sound like any fun at all. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteI love your work though. Talented and then some. I wouldn't be able to do this.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
Thank you. I don't think I have talent though, unless you count being able to find designs online to copy. lol You could do this. It's geometry and sewing a straight line.
DeleteYou are absolutely right about the mud. I absolutely hate digging. And in the mud is so much worse.
LOVE the Irish Chain... so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these!! Gorgeous :^) Not much on my design wall-I really need to get a quilted postcard made and mailed by tomorrow, not happening!!! So back to the Christmas cards!!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I've never done a quilted postcard but always thought they would be fun.
DeleteYour Irish chain looks great. And the Crossroads looks like spring is just around the corner.... well, hopefully we'll get a little winter first.
ReplyDeleteThank you. We haven't had any winter yet either. I can't imagine how bad the bugs will be next year if we don't get at least one good freeze.
DeleteBoth quilts are coming along beautifully. Hope you are almost done playing in the mud.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, we're through in the mud for now. After getting bids for $$$ French drains to keep the old shed from getting wet every time it rained, we finally decided to just take down the shed. LOL The original owners picked a bad place for it anyway. We still have to redirect some water off the driveway, but it's not a big deal.
ReplyDeleteHi! Nice your design wall. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the way that design looks on the wall. I recently went to a yard sale and picked up some French art books for $1 a piece. I cut out all the amazing art and did the exact same thing that you did. The wall looks amazing and it cost me in total about five bucks to change the look of the room.
