Design Wall 11

Not much change on the wall. I thought I was going to finish the Double Irish Chain top yesterday, but then realized I need one more row. Tomorrow maybe. Today's schedule doesn't have any quilting in it. It's going to be a beautiful day and I need to get the yard mowed and get some hoeing done in the garden if it has dried enough. More rain in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.

  1. That is a gorgeous Double Irish Chain. Have fun with the yard work. We're having a day in the 70s here with sunshine so I have to get some things done outside as well before the weather turns cold and rainy again. Have a great day!

  3. Some progress is better than none at all. I love the scrappiness in your Double Irish Chains. Hopefully you got the yard mowed and will have a chance to sew today.

  4. Your Irish chain is beautiful. I have always wanted to make one but it looks like so much work.

    1. Thank you. I'm surprised how easy it is, especially doing it as leaders and enders. It's pretty mindless. I'm having trouble matching seams but the problem is my 1/4 inch foot.
