Having the designers name makes it easier to find their blog and from there, any on-line source of their patterns. I've tried hard over my bloggy life to include as much info about a finished quilt on the blog along with the links. It does get annoying when you can't find a source for a pattern you see.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. I've spent a lot of time lately looking for a pattern I started making years ago but I didn't keep anything except the name of the pattern back then. I've kicked myself several times for that.
